I was looking through the submissions for the anthology, and wow, I just had to respond. I absolutely love this. The subtle insinuation of the mystery behind Jason's disappearance, paired with the visual of the head and the noises from the flies makes me create my own scenarios as the story progresses. I found myself really invested and stayed all the way till the end, and almost wish there was more of it. This is beautiful!
